DS2400 files
The DS2400 creates a new type of .ds2 file, which are higher quality than .dss files. However Express Scribe cannot yet play .ds2 files direct. There is a simple workaround to create .dss files using the DSS Player software which comes with the recorder, which takes just a few seconds to do. Express Scribe has a good record of introducing new features and we hope that they introduce .ds2 compatibility soon.
