While your fingers are typing, your foot is controlling play and pause, forward and rewind - just like with tapes.
There are three separate parts - the wide centre pedal for play and pause, and the two sides for rewind and fast forward.
To use the pedal for transcription you need to use a transcription program with it, which we do not supply. There are many around, but the two most popular options are:
1. FTR (For The Record) "The Record Player" is a free program which plays mp3, wav, dss, wma and wmv files and works 100% with our Infinity USB foot pedal. Download it from here
2. Express Scribe Our Infinity pedal now works only with Express Scribe Pro, not the free version.
When you download Express Scribe you get a trial version of the Pro software which works 100% with our pedal; this functions for 14 days after which you must pay a one-time licence fee (in Feb 2013 only around £14).
